Contact dermatitis is a skin reaction of certain allergens or substances which potentially cause allergies or reactions. Contact dermatitis is damage of the skin caused by an allergic reaction. It happens when your skin has direct contact to a substance which you are allergy to. It is scaly rash and itchiness that can appear anywhere on the body. Basically, your immune system will defend the allergic reaction but contact dermatitis patient's immune systems react too much to the allergy even they are harmless substances.
