Eczema flare ups are the things that nobody wants to appear in their skin. When people recognize something reddish and very itchy, they start thinking what and how to overcome. It is very rare to know people prevent first before getting infected. Stress can be one reason why the skin has eruptions. The relationship is that when you get stress, you disturb your good sleeping and eating pattern. This makes in the immune system being lowered. So that, it is very important to keep to a good schedule of healthy eating, sufficient sleep and exercises that lower stress. Watch carefully on your food consumption. Perhaps some of you do not realize that certain foods triggered your rash such as nuts, milk products or an allergy to wheat. There also factors that are not ingested but are in contact with the body. They trigger an eczema relapse such as ingredients in cleaners, certain detergents or over the counter bathing products can be hard for someone with sensitive skin to tolerate. If you have known some triggers, it is better to avoid them. Often, this condition causes excessive itching, but do not scratch as this leads to infection and you will need antibiotics to fight it. If it itches too much, cold compress is useful to apply on the area.
Since you are very active and busy, there is a chance that you forget applying body lotion or moisturizer on your skin. This can be risky if you are prone to get dermatitis. Moreover, rubbing the skin too hard with a wash cloth or irritating it with abrasive clothing that scratches the skin can stimulate another rash. After your rash has gone, sometimes you go back to taking very hot showers again. That is not recommended and it is still best to stay with the lukewarm showers and sacrifice the enjoyment of a hot shower. You should apply good habit in maintaining healthy skin such as drink water frequently and no scratching the skin with your nails. It is worth giving up some small pleasures for longer lasting comfort.
