Membership

The Florida Hydrogen Initiative, Inc. is a membership-driven non-profit corporation. Members of the Florida Hydrogen Initiative enjoy voting rights in organizational governance, access to FHI news and publications, and complementary admission tickets to the annual FHI convention. Non-profit, institutional, small, and large business – class members enjoy the right to post their corporate logo to the FHI website, links to their respective websites, and will receive complementary exhibit space at FHI conventions. Pending final 501(c)(3) review by the Internal Revenue Service, the majority of membership fees may be tax deductible.

The current FHI fee schedule is:

  • Individual $100
  • Non-voting Associate $25
  • Full time student $25
  • Non-profit organization $50
  • Institution (Government Agency or University) $500
  • Small Business (50 employees or less) $500
  • Large Business (more than 50 employees) $2,000
  • Sustaining Member $12,000

Sustaining members receive all of the benefits listed above and remain members in good standing for 10 years.

Paid dues are valid for each FHI fiscal year (October 1 – September 30) and must be renewed each year in order for a member to remain in good standing.
