Current Projects
During 2004, the Florida Hydrogen Initiative received 57 qualified letters of interest proposing over $35M in matching funds for research, development, education, and technology demonstration projects. The Board of Directors has selected a portfolio of projects to begin in 2005.

In January 2005, the Florida Hydrogen Initiative received a second year of funding through the U.S. Department of Energy. During the open solicitation period, FHI received 31 qualified letters of interest. A public announcement regarding the second round of projects is forthcoming.
